Multi-Camera Interface for GM Vehicles – 8″ MyLink

This video interface allows for the installation of multiple cameras around the vehicle providing unparalleled safety through added driver awareness, as well as a three input video switcher, allowing outboard video sources to be played on the factory screen. Covers a wide variety of the most popular GM trucks and cars with the 8″ MyLink system. The system works in two configurations: CAMERA MODE: Allows the installation of front, side and rear cameras (if no factory rear camera) or front & side cameras if factory camera is present. VIDEO MODE: Allows 1 rear camera and 3 video inputs for phone mirroring, DVD, TV, etc. (Sound will play through AUX or factory Bluetooth) In camera mode, front and side cameras can be added if the vehicle is already equipped with factory rear camera. Rear camera can be added if factory camera is not present. Front camera will trigger for 5 seconds when vehicle is taken out of reverse. Side cameras will trigger (by CAN data) when turn signals are activated. OE or aftermarket rear camera will trigger in reverse. In video mode, the 3 video inputs can be toggled using the outboard switch provided. Rear camera (OE or aftermarket) will work only in reverse.
